Core is for talent professionals who are past the basics and want to develop their craft alongside peers who are doing the same work, in real organizations, in real time.

  • You have a few years of in-house practice and are sharpening your craft
  • You want a peer group that meets over time, not a one-off conference

What a month looks like

Roughly two to four hours, every month.

Members tell us TMC is the best professional investment they make — but it's not passive. Here's a typical month.

Week 1

Monthly Idea Lab

75 minutes. A facilitated working session on a live topic. You'll come with a question; you'll leave with three new ways to think about it.

Week 2

Self-paced

Optional pre-reads, recordings, or a peer DM. Some months have a webinar or fireside chat; some months don't. You decide what's worth your time.

Week 3

Peer consultation cohort

90 minutes. Your standing cohort of fellow Core members. One person presents a real challenge; the rest of the group works it. The cadence is what builds trust.

Week 4

Optional micro-workshop

60 minutes. A craft session led by TMC faculty. Roughly six of these across the year. Skip the ones that aren't relevant; show up for the ones that are.

Core launches in cohorts.

The first Core cohort begins July 2026, with another opening in the fall. We onboard cohorts together so peer consultation groups form on day one. Apply now to be considered for an upcoming cohort — Anja will follow up within five business days.

Questions you might have

Answers, without the marketing.

How selective is Core, really?

Selective enough that the room works. We review every application carefully — for fit, depth of practice, and contribution orientation. Most applicants who meet the bar are admitted. Those we don't admit usually hear back with a reason and a path forward.

Do I have to attend everything?

No. Idea Labs, micro-workshops, webinars, and IRL events are all optional. The one place we ask for consistency is your peer consultation cohort — that group depends on the same people showing up over time. Missing one for travel is fine; disappearing for three months without a note isn't.

What's the SIOP rate?

SIOP members can join Core at $1,000/year (vs. $1,250 retail) or pay $100/month. Mention SIOP on the application. Valid through May 31, 2026.

Can my company sponsor my membership?

Yes. Many of our members are reimbursed by their employers as a professional development expense. We're also happy to invoice your company directly. If multiple people from your organization want to join, ask us about company subscriptions — we offer custom pricing for organizations bringing several leaders into TMC at once.

How does someone move from Core to Executive?

Elevation is reviewed case by case by the TMC team. We look at contribution to the community, depth of practice, and current role. We've intentionally not published a checklist — we want it to be a real conversation when the time comes.

What if I'm not sure Core is the right fit?

Apply anyway and tell us where you're unsure on the form. If Executive is a better fit, we'll say so. If we're not sure, Anja will set up a 20-minute call before you commit.
